Digital Care Leader helps care providers understand and improve how they use digital and AI.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, Digital Care Leader is the data controller for personal data collected through this website and our services.

2. What data we collect

Digital Capability Check

When you complete the Digital Capability Check we collect:

  • Your first and last name
  • Your work email address
  • Your job role and care service type
  • Your organisation name
  • Your answers to the ten assessment questions
  • Your dimension scores and overall capability score

Contact form

When you use our contact form we collect your name, email address, organisation, and the content of your message.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the Digital Care Leader newsletter we collect your email address via our newsletter provider, Beehiiv.

Website usage

We may collect anonymised data about how visitors use this website. This does not identify you personally.

We will never use your data to make automated decisions that affect you without your knowledge.

5. Data sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your personal data with third parties for their marketing purposes.

We use the following service providers who may process data on our behalf:

  • Netlify — website hosting and form submission processing (United States, with appropriate safeguards)
  • Beehiiv — newsletter delivery for subscribers who have given consent

All third-party processors are required to handle your data in accordance with UK GDPR and our instructions.

6. How long we keep your data

  • Digital Capability Check results and contact details: up to 24 months from the date of completion, unless you ask us to delete them sooner
  • Contact form enquiries: up to 12 months from the date of enquiry
  • Newsletter subscription data: until you unsubscribe

After these periods your personal data will be securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Restrict or object to how we process your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent
  • Request that we move, copy or transfer your data to another organisation or directly to you
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO)

This website uses two categories of cookies.
